Sensex and Nifty opened gap up on positive global clues .Dow Jones yesterday had rallied more than 900 points on vaccine hope as biotech firm Moderna had announced positive results from its clinical trials on COVID-19 vaccine.Bharti Airtel, Adani ports and PVR zoomed more than 7 percent while UPL tanked over 7 per cent.

But indices gave up most of their early gains as session progresses.

Bharati Airtel zoomed more than 10 per cent to end the day at 596.20. Company had announced Q4 results yesterday.

Highlights:

Q4 loss at Rs 5,237 crore, mainly due to provisioning for paying statutory dues.

Healthy guidance with increase in Average Reveue Per User and reduction in capex in 2021.
