Well, it has already been more than two months since the first lockdown and seems like the condition is more sensitive than ever. With everyone saying that we will have to live with this virus, many factories and industries have been re-opened. But unfortunately, this unlock phase 1 is only for the areas outside the containment zones, and lockdown still prevails in remaining zones.

All activities are permitted in the areas which lie outside the containment zones. From June 8, 2020, all the religious places, hotels, restaurants, shopping malls, and related places will be re-opened except containment zones, only after the permission of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare with proper safety measures.

In phase2, the State/UT’s will decide on the opening of schools, colleges,Educational institutions, coaching centers, etc. in July.

After assessing the above situation, the decision will be passed on

opening of gyms, swimming pools, metro rail, public transport,

Cinema, theatres, bars, auditoriums, international air travel for

passengers and any social/political/religious activities in phase3.

    2.No movements between 9p.m. to 5 a.m.

There will be no movement between 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. all over the nation unless necessary. Lockdown has been extended till June 3, 2020, within containment zones and only essential activities will be carried out like medical, healthcare, etc..

    3.State/UT’s can restrict movement

State/UT’s can restrict the movement outside the containment zones if they feel essential and safe for society at a large. But there will be unrestricted movement/transfer of goods between the states and within the states and in case they have to put some restrictions then wide publicity will be done beforehand and steps to be followed. Whereas, no State/UT cannot restrict the movement with the neighbouring countries at all.

    4.Stay at home

The person above the age of 65 years, children below the age of 10 and pregnant ladies are highly advised to stay at home.

    5.Aarogya Setu App

Use of Aarogya Setu App by employees is advised as it enables early identification of risk and may update the details on the app regularly to ensure their safety.
